The mushroom Royal White is well known to many housewives. It has an egg-shaped cap with a diameter of no more than 7-10 cm and a cylindrical stalk up to 4-6 cm high. The pulp is white and turns reddish when cut. Young mushrooms taste best, but become less tasty with age.

The mushrooms are grown on several types of substrate: straw with manure or humus. In 5-7 cm deep holes, pour a pinch of mycelium (distance between holes 15-18 cm). Cover the mushroom bed with straw or burlap to prevent it from drying out. After around two weeks, remove the covering material and cover the plantation with peat and soil (1:1) in a layer of around 2 cm.
