Alyssum Fresh Seeds, (Pack of 5), Pink Wildflower Uncultivated, Vibrant Color, Glade Grass, Easy to Grow
Alyssum Fresh Seeds , Pink Flowers 0.5 g seeds (Pack of 5)
Landscape - Scenery, Nature No People
Miniature plant 10-15cm high with small flowers and honey lobularia aroma. Growing, it forms a dense, flowing carpet of delicate pink and lilac color. Blossoms from June to frost. The plant tolerates cutting well and blooms a second time just as abundantly. Used for balcony drawers, on stony slides and framing flowerbeds. The plants are cold resistant, light-loving, and do not require soil. Require regular watering. Reproduce by sowing in the ground in early May or under the winter. It is possible to cultivate in the same place for several years due to self-sowing.
Growing From Seed
You can start Sweet Alyssum from seed or plant, although some new cultivars are not available as seed. Seedlings are widely available in nurseries, in the spring and often in the fall. To start Sweet Alyssum from seed, simply scatter the seed and press it down, so that it makes good contact with the soil, but it is still exposed to light. Keep the soil moist until germination. Then water whenever the soil feels dry.
You can direct seed outdoors, once the soil feels warm to the touch. You can also start alyssum seed indoors, about eight weeks before your last frost date. Do not transplant until after all danger of frost. Alyssum is somewhat frost tolerant, once established, but tender transplants are not hardy enough for frost.
