Aster Alpinus. Perennial herbaceous plant with a straight downy stem. Forms a compact bush, 25-30 cm high. Inflorescences, single baskets, up to 5 cm in diameter, multicolored, with yellow median. Light-loving and frost-resistant culture, prefers nutritious soils with good moisturizing. Seeds are sown in April-June to a depth of 0.5 cm. At a temperature of 15-18 ⁰C seedlings appear on 10-14 days. In 3-4 weeks the seedlings dive. Astra is transplanted to a permanent place in August. In case of seedless method of cultivation the seeds are sown in the open ground in May - June or in autumn. Plants are regularly watered. It blooms next year (April - June). In one place, the alpine aster is grown no more than 5-6 years, after which the bushes are rejuvenated. Used in flower beds, for flowerbeds and slaves, on stony slides.
