Crossandra Tropic. Bright, original indoor plant, a height of 25 cm. Leaves are dark green, long, narrow, acuminate, with a characteristic wave-shaped edge. Flowers of red color, 2-2.5 cm in diameter, collected in dense spiky inflorescences, up to 10 cm long. Optimum growing temperature from spring to autumn 22-27 ⁰C, in winter - not less than 18 ⁰C. Lighting is bright, but diffuse, as the plant does not tolerate direct sunlight. In the period of active vegetation and flowering, irrigation is regular and abundant, in winter - moderate. Feeding once a week from spring to autumn with complex fertilizers. Seeds are sown in early spring in a mixture of peat and sand. Cover the sowing tank with glass or film. At 22-24 ⁰C the seedlings appear in 20 days. In the phase of 2-3 leaves the plants dive and transplant to a permanent place.
