Gaillardia grandiflora Arizona. The most compact variety. Height 25-30 cm. The inflorescences are bright, large, up to 9 cm in diameter. Blossoms abundant and long lasting from June to September. Finding for a hot summer. Dry-resistant, light-loving culture. Prefers light, dry soils. Requires an easy shelter for winter. Seedlings are sown in April and May. Transplanted in August at a distance of 20-25 cm to a permanent place. Plants bloom for the next year. In one place grows 3-5 years. Used for flower beds, slaves, kerbs, as design of vases and containers.
