Quamoclit Ipomoea Seeds, Morning Glory Red Feather, Flowers Annual 50 Pcs (Pack of 5)
Annual curly plant, up to 3 m high. Flowers are large funnel-shaped, red. Open only during the day. Seeds are sown at once to a permanent place, when the threat of frost is over. Shoots appear in 10-14 days, the distance between plants 40-45 cm. To get quality seeds, you must grow seedlings. Blossoming saplings from June to frost.
Sowing in soil
Sowing morning glory in the soil is produced from the end of March to mid-May.. Seeding depth is 1-2 cm. Sow in a row less often, leaving 5-6 cm between seeds. The sowing place is usually chosen near the fence, gazebo or other vertical support that the plant will braid. Watering should be in moderation so that an earth crust does not form on top. Seeds emerge after a couple of weeks and grow quite quickly, drowning out the weeds. But do not rely on the "vitality" of morning glory, all weeds need to be weeded, and seedlings should be thinned, leaving a distance of 7-8 cm.
Ipomoea can be sown before winter in the fall, at any convenient time, if only weather conditions allowed. The plant does not rise before spring, seeds require stratification. Liana aggressively propagates by self-sowing, keep this in mind if you plant it in the garden: you can’t remove seed boxes on time anyway, there will be too many of them. Therefore, give the beauty a place where she will not clog cultural plantings.
